<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle informing device at night enabling not only one's own vehicle but also a peripheral vehicle to recognize existence of an obstacle such as a pedestrian and bicycle moving around the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This obstacle informing device detects objects around the vehicle and repeatedly detects their positions, and estimates moving positions of the objects after a predetermined time based on the time variation of the detected positions. The obstacle informing device applies an electromagnetic wave marker to the estimated moving positions, and adjusts the application direction of the electromagnetic wave marker in response to the movement of the estimated moving positions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
