PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system or the like which can recognize fingerprints and sense the operation of user's finger by a display, using image-capture function. SOLUTION: An authentication device 100 is provided with the function of recognizing whether a finger print pattern sensed in a display section 40 with the image capture function agrees with the user's finger pattern information registered beforehand, and to recognize whether the operation of the user's finger sensed in the display section 40 with image capture function agrees with the operation pattern information registered beforehand. In addition to regular display functions of display objects 30, such as a variety of menus and buttons, the display section 40 with the image capture function is provided with a fingerprint pattern sensing feature which senses user's fingerprint pattern and a sensing feature of operation which senses the movement of the user's finger by the display with image-capture function.
