<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for maintaining the continuity of a computing operation regardless of a user's location which can vary throughput according to changing computation requests. <P>SOLUTION: The first step is to provide a personal information terminal, a cellular phone or other mobile processor (PDA) with a core operation system. In the second step, when a user desires to perform a computation task at a physical location where use of a desktop computer is not suitable, the core operation system is operated by using the PDA. In the third system, the PDA is coupled with a tablet type display device and the throughput of the PDA which operates the core operation system is intensified when mobility is desired and a processing or display request exceeds capability of the PDA by the tablet type display device. In the fourth step, the PDA is coupled with the desktop display device and the throughput of the PDA which operates the core operation system is intensified when the mobility is not required and the processing or display request exceeds the throughput of the PDA by the desktop display device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
