PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply that reduces the undershooting of a power supply voltage at the time of an interruption of power supply and that discharges the potential of an output capacitor speedily. SOLUTION: This power supply which supplies a DC power source voltage is provided with a power source voltage supplying portion that supplies the power source voltage to the power source output end of the power supply; an output capacitor that is a capacitance component provided between the power source output end and the ground; a discharging resistor that discharges potential accumulated in the output capacitor to the ground when the supply of the power source voltage is stopped; and a discharging switch that, provided on a discharging path through which the discharging resistor discharges the potential accumulated in the output capacitor portion to the ground, connects the discharging path when the supply of the power source voltage is stopped and disconnects the path when the power source voltage is supplied.
