PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic flash device capable of surely connecting a trigger electrode to a flash reflector and easily and quickly performing the connection and disconnection of the trigger electrode. SOLUTION: In the electronic device provided with a frame body 2 forming an aperture part 1 on the front, the flash reflector 3 which is inserted from the front into the aperture part 1 of the frame body 2, a flash discharge tube 4 like a straight tube which is internally inserted into the flash reflector 3, the trigger electrode 5 to be connected to the outer surface of the reflection canopy 3, and an optical panel 6 arranged in the front of the frame body 2 and constituted so that light generated from the flash discharge tube 4 by impressing trigger voltage to the trigger electrode 5 is converged by the flash reflector 3 and applied to an object through the optical panel 6, the frame body 2 is provided with a pair of supporting parts 8 arranged with a prescribed interval so that the top part of the flash reflector 3 inserted into the aperture part 1 is held and the trigger electrode 5 is constituted so as to be arranged over the supporting parts 8 and elastically deformed.
