PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a write optical device which is capable of ensuring an image of high quality by suppressing the vibrations of an optical source (LD holder). SOLUTION: The write optical device carries out a deflection scan of an image with a laser beam. A pressure holding mechanism 6 which holds an LD holder 1 equipped with a built-in LD as a light source in a thrust adjustable manner is provided to the write optical device.
