PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of mounting a micro-work by which the micro-work can be mounted on a mounting body by preventing the application of a load to the micro-work as much as possible by mounting the micro-work on the mounting body, while the height of the mounting surface of the body is controlled by preventing the deterioration of productive efficiency not by detecting the height of the mounting surface separately in an independent step but by detecting it in a flux transferring step. SOLUTION: In this method of mounting the micro-work, the micro-work is firstly mounted on the mounting surface of the mounting body by means of a mounting head after flux is transferred to a prescribed position on the mounting surface of the mounting body by means of a transfer pin applied with the flux at its tip. Secondly, the height of the mounting surface is detected when the transfer pin transfers the flux to the mounting surface. Thirdly, the lowered position of the mounting head is controlled at the time of mounting the micro-work based on the detected height of the mounting surface. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
