PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing wall superior in workability, and having large wall magnification. SOLUTION: This bearing wall has a horizontal member such as a column 2, a column material such as a main beam 12 arranged in the direction orthogonal to this horizontal member, and structural plywood 26 fixed to a surface of the horizontal member and the column material. The structural plywood 26 is fixed by nails 32 along the peripheral edge 30 to the horizontal member and the column material. An installation pitch of the nails 32 for fixing the structural plywood 26 is formed in 100 mm. The total length of the nails 32 is set five times as thick as the structural plywood 26. The effective length Le of the nails embedded in the horizontal member or the column material in a state of driving the nails 32, is set four times or more as thick as thickness T of the structural plywood 26. The total contact area to the horizontal member or the column material of the nails 32 for fixing the structural plywood 26, is set to 109 cm<SP>2</SP>or more per m<SP>2</SP>(Stm), or 11 cm<SP>2</SP>or more per shaku<SP>2</SP>(Sts) (0.0918 m<SP>2</SP>).
