摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspension wire of an optical pickup in which stable focusing servo control and/or tracking servo control are provided, high speed rotation of the optical disk device is realized and deformation is made difficult against external impacts and to provide a manufacturing method of the wire. SOLUTION: The above objectives are accomplished with an optical pickup suspension wire 1 whose Young's modulus is 270Gpa to 420Gpa and tensile strength is 1,800MPa to 4,800MPa. The above objectives are accomplished with the optical pickup suspension wire 1 using wire materials of tungsten or rhenium tungsten. When tungsten or rhenium tungsten are used for the wire material, it is desirable to use an optical pickup suspension wire 2 whose outer periphery has a solderable metal layer 3.
