PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer gas meter which is hardly affected by external noises, informs of abnormalities of internal data and is high in safety. SOLUTION: The microcomputer gas meter is provided with an indication lamp for indicating abnormality and the like, a shut-off valve shutting gas, a shut-off valve drive circuit driving the shut-off valve, a CPU performing deciding process for deciding the anomaly state from the input signal, from at least a gas flow rate meter and a control process for controlling the indication lamp and the shut-off valve drive circuit according to the results of the judging process, having a RAM and always measuring the time and a battery as the power source.
