PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device in which charged substances contained in processing liquid supplied onto a plate to which a specimens is attached can be surely reacted (combined) with the specimen in a relatively short time. SOLUTION: This processing device 1 performs a processing of reaction of a probe (charged substance) contained in a probe liquid (processing liquid) supplied onto a slide glass 100 to which nucleic acid as the specimen is attached with the nucleic acid. It is provided with a processing tank 2 having a recessed part 21 in which the slide glass 100 is placed, electrodes 3A-3L disposed around the slide glass 100 placed on the recessed part 21 to get in touch with the probe liquid supplied, a current conducting means to pass a current to the electrodes 3A-3L, and a current conduction changeover means to change over current passing state to the electrodes 3A-3L with the lapse of time.
