PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for planning and computing vertical section alignment of slab track allowing visual grasping of relationship between subgrade and planned vertical section alignment. SOLUTION: The method for planning and computing the vertical section alignment of slab tracks adopts both principal data for the height correction of a reference instrument including a plurality of gradient values of the subgrade CBA of slab tracks; distance to a single or a plurality of gradient change points from a start point of survey; distances to the change points in horizontal alignment measured from the start point of survey; cant values of circular curves; types of relaxation curves, and data at one station comprising readings obtained by reading a leveling rod installed on the upper surface of a protruding PC block and a leveling rod installed on the surface of the subgrade in units of millimeters; distances to the following stations read in units of meters; differences of elevation between a surveying point "*" at the center of the subgrade and surveying points "+" and "-" on the right and left sides of the subgrade at predetermined distances therefrom; and type symbols of the track slabs.
