The opening (2) in the top side of the casing via which cigarettes are added to the ash tray is present at the end of a tubular section (3) which slants in a downwards direction. The lower end of the tubular section is narrower than the upper end forming the opening, which has a funnel shape (4). The casing is fireproof and has a separate sealable opening via which the ash and cigarette butts can be removed.
