<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform separation, collection, detection, and screening of a target component with the target component and a bonded molecule of target-components kept in conditions closer to organism conditions when performing the separation, collection, detection, and screening of the target component by using a structural body formed by causing a carrier to carry, in an immobilized manner, molecules having bonding affinity with the target component. <P>SOLUTION: In this method, target-component bonded molecules 4 are used for separating, collecting, detecting, and screening the target component. What is made by at least partly coating the surface of a carrier substrate 1 (magnetic body) with polyhydroxyalkanoate 2, a polymeric material having high bio-affinity, is used as the carrier for immobilizing the bonded molecules 4.
