<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bed in which sensors and electric boards are arranged in desired places of a frame of the bed, and obstructive harness and control box are eliminated in outer appearance. <P>SOLUTION: The bed includes at least: the sensors for detecting biological information of a subject lying on the bed; and electric circuit boards which are connected to the sensors and each provided with an electric circuit for processing signals from the sensors. The sensors, the electric circuit boards and the harnesses connecting them are stored in the desired places of the frame. One sensor is a distortion gauge for detecting the distortion of the frame. The distortion gauge is mounted on the inner or outer surface of the frame from an opening formed in the frame.
