<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution especially suitable for reducing the torque ripple when a brushless motor of the following type is mass-produced in which the torque ripple of the brushless motor can be reduced surely and with excellent accuracy without executing the complicated calculations during driving the motor, and moreover, without depending on the motor. <P>SOLUTION: The torque output before the torque ripple compensation of a control target motor 1 composed of the brushless motor is measured beforehand. A torque ripple compensation coefficient at each rotational angle for canceling the torque ripple peculiar to the motor 1 is obtained from a ratio of a torque command value and the measurement result of the torque output before the compensation of the torque ripple. It is held in a compensation storage part 14. The torque ripple compensation coefficient at each rotational angle in the compensation storage part 14 is read out following the rotation of the motor 1 on the basis of the detection of the rotor position of the motor 1 and it is multiplied to the torque command value.
