PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording device which can stably maintain discharge performance regarding different ink over a long period of time. SOLUTION: Images are recorded by using a recording head capable of discharging the different ink from a plurality of ink discharging parts in the ink jet recording device. The ink jet recording device is provided with a driving means for driving a plurality of the ink discharging parts and a changing means for changing the driving conditions by the driving means for each ink discharging part corresponding to the type of the discharging ink.
