INTERFERENCE CONTROL CIRCUIT AND UWB RECEIVER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce interference with a UWB signal derived from the signal of a narrow-band communication system in a UWB receiver or a UWB repeater system for UWB communication. SOLUTION: A UWB reception circuit 105 conducts UWB reception processing based on the received UWB signal 101. A flame synchronization section 111 executes frame synchronization processing by referring to determination data 112 obtained from the result of the UWB reception processing. A reception quality determination section 109 observes success or failure in frame synchronization establishment. When the frame synchronization establishment fails more than predetermined frequencies at predetermined periods of time, a directionality control section 107 repeats processing for changing the directionality of a reception antenna 100 by a predetermined angle. Consequently, the USB signal is received based on the antenna directionality having the lowest interference caused by the signal of the well-known narrow band communication system.
