PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint device automatically restorable to an original state in stopping, by simplifying a structure, facilitating installation, and absorbing the swinging movement without damaging even if left-right buildings swingingly move in the different directions. SOLUTION: This joint device is composed of a joint cover rotatably installed via a hinge member in one skeleton on the joint part side of the left-right buildings, and covering a part except for the other side of a joint part for forming the back face side of a tip part on an inclined face; a joint cover support piece rotatably installed via the hinge member in the other skeleton, for slidingly moving the tip part of the joint cover forward, when a joint part becomes narrow, by abutting on the tip part of the inclined face capable of coming into surface contact with the tip part of this joint cover; a rotary shaft having the axis positioned in the rotational direction of the joint cover on a back face of the joint cover; and a wire having one end installed in the tip part of the joint cover support piece, having the other end part wound on the rotary shaft by at least one rotation or more, and installed in the one skeleton via a spring, so as to be capable of energizing the joint cover in the closing direction.
