PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can miniaturize a rear side safety cover covering a blade and can rationally compose the shape and position of the safety cover. SOLUTION: One end part of the rear side safety cover 135 covering the lower part rear side of the blade 131 is fitted rotatably around the rotation center set in the vicinity of the rocking center 130a of a circular saw main body 130 on the rear side of a blade case 132, is contacted with a material W to be processed when the material W is cut by the blade 131, and is rotated upward. The rear side safety cover 135 is extended in the tangential direction of the periphery of the blade 131 from a mounting part in relation to a link arm 136 and covers the lower part rear side of the blade 131 with its extension part made a cover part 135e.
