PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foodstuff case for induction heating cooking for speedily cooking foodstuff to be heated with heat without drying by easily storing water of a quantity required and sufficient for the foodstuff to be heated and repeatedly jetting steam by utilizing the water. SOLUTION: By means of a first standing wall 18 standing from the peripheral edge of a communication port 17 toward the inner space 16 of a lid 3, water made to flow into the inner space 16 from the communication port 17 is stored in the inner space 16, and a water-absorbing sheet 11 is supported so that a part of the sheet 11 may contact with the stored water. Since the water replenished by the sheet 11 is heated to be warm water, the steam is repeatedly jetted from the sheet 11 in a short period of time. Thus, a hot and humid state is kept longer in the housing space 8 of a receiving body 2 than in that of a conventional foodstuff, thereby the foodstuff to be heated is efficiently cooked with heat without being dried.
