PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing device and a washing method stably washing a long material like a lead frame regardless of its shape, and providing high washing effect with a less amount of washing water. SOLUTION: The long material is continuously passed through grooves formed in the washing device for passing the material therethrough, and washing water is run through zigzaged washing water flow passages formed to cross the grooves for multiple times for washing the long material.
