A steering column angle sensor (2) has magnetic field sensors (60, 66) for magnetic polarized sectors (54, 56) on both a steering column (14) coupled main rotor (4) rotating about the column axis (12) and an extra rotor (6) coaxial with the main rotor and driven by a drive gear (8) from it.
