The valve has a sealing element (7) which is biased by a closing spring (8) and actuated by the armature (12) of a controllable electromagnet (19) to move between positions where it opens and closes a flow pathway between one or more inlets (4) and one or more outlets (24). The valve is designed as a flat seat valve with a plane valve seat (3), with the sealing element having at least one plane sealing surface facing the valve seat.
