<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent beforehand a density adjustment operation from being performed during a printing job by displaying the number of printable pages to be printed until the next density adjustment is carried out at a side of a printer driver when the printing is started by notifying a host computer and a user of the above fact through a network by each of color and monochrome printing, and to allow the user to carry out a forced density adjustment when the printing is started. <P>SOLUTION: This image processor comprises an image processing means for performing processing of an image, a detecting means for detecting change of an environment setting condition of the image processing means, a judging means for judging whether or not the environment setting condition is to be reset based on the signal detected by the detecting means, a means for performing the resetting of the environment setting condition based on the output signal output from the judging means, and a means of notifying a user of the number of printable pages to be printed until the environment setting condition is reset. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
