<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct memory saving processing at a high speed by operating the optimum processing order and the optimum thread while taking conditions such as a file size of a coming-in job, a predicted processing time and a residual memory size in a host into account. <P>SOLUTION: An input PDL, a display list format file allowing rendering, determination outputs as to whether a thread is constructed or not by processing conditions of various condition processing part and the input of a processing order, and a data and a display list RIP-finished to a device such as a printer and a display are output to solve a problem wherein a RIP is occupied in a soft RIP with processing in the conventional sequential RIP processing when the heavy job comes in, and wherein processing is not started until the heavy job is finished, even when the next job is very light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
