<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for reducing block distortion and mosquito noise even in a situation that the image processor is separated from a decoder and information at the time of encoding is unknown and for improving subjective picture quality. <P>SOLUTION: In the image processor equipped with a random signal adding means 15 for adding a random signal to an effective area of an image signal which is obtained by decoding an encoded image, the random signal adding means 15 has a random signal amplitude control means 143 for controlling an amplitude of a random signal, and a frequency control means 144 for extracting a high frequency component in the horizontal direction and the vertical direction of the random signal, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
