<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize remote control of a desired external apparatus from a plurality of TV sets, even if various kinds of external apparatuses are connected to a wireless center. <P>SOLUTION: The TV set 3 is connected to, so as to be able to communicate, the wireless center connected to one or a plurality of external apparatuses, and receives video and/or audio data from the wireless center. The TV set 3 is provided with an SS transmission/reception unit 61 for communication with the wireless center, and a TV microcomputer 64 for controlling the operation of its own apparatus. The TV microcomputer 64 is provided with an identification ID acquiring section 150 for acquiring the identification information for identifying the external apparatuses from the wireless center via the unit 61; and a remote control data creating section 151 for creating, when performing remote control operation for the external apparatus, the remote control data including the remote control information indicating the contents of the remote control and the identification information of the external apparatus to be remotely controlled, and for transmitting the created remote control data to the wireless center via the SS unit 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
