PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a heat compression molded foam capable of carrying out a secondary cutting process with a high precision, and a high precision foam roll. SOLUTION: (1) The heat compression molding is carried out so that mainly one side of a polyurethane foam or a melamine foam excepting a thickness side is compressed and simultaneously a thickness side is secondarily compressed. (2) The foam roll is produced by cutting so that the direction of the roll axis of a roll may be the same to a main compressed direction on a production of the foam roll. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
