PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid injection apparatus which can fully collect liquid mist without hindering jetted liquid droplets from correctly reaching a striking position. SOLUTION: The liquid injection apparatus has a head member 4 with a nozzle face, a medium holding means for holding a medium 12 to which the liquid is jetted, a scanning means for moving the head member 4 relatively to the medium 12 while a predetermined interval between the nozzle face of the head member 4 and the medium 12 is maintained, a pressure variation means for varying a pressure of the liquid of a nozzle opening part to jet the liquid, and a control body part for driving the pressure variation means on the basis of discharge data. A rectification mechanism 100 is arranged at the downstream side of a relative movement direction of the head member 4 by the scanning means with respect to a head face of the liquid injection apparatus so as to prevent effects on the speed of an air flow generated on the head face in accordance with the relative movement of the head member by the scanning means and also to smoothly deflect the air flow.
