PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for winding and continuous printing by which a printing pattern aligning means is obtained for an objective tape carrier, T-BGA, etc., having no margin for installing alignment marks on the inside and outer sides of a printing pattern area, and to provide a tape ball grid array using the method. SOLUTION: In the method of continuously printing pattern on a long substrate, alignment is performed by using the leading already existing pattern in the transporting direction and, at the same time, a real printing pattern is printed on the last already existing pattern in the transporting direction, after already existing patterns are formed at prescribed positions in a printing pattern area. The method includes a step of continuously printing the already existing patterns with the half-pitch length of a length in the sending direction, a step of printing position detecting marks on prescribed positions of the leading already existing pattern and the real printing pattern on a position at which the real printing pattern covers and conceals the last already existing pattern, and a step of transporting the substrate by the half-pitch length of the length in the sending direction.
