PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of changing temperature of air conditioning wind in accordance with a wind direction of the air conditioning wind blowing out of a side face diffuser without providing a wind direction sensor on the side face diffuser. SOLUTION: A hot wind channel end part 20d and a cold wind channel end part 20e are provided on a channel upstream of a lateral direction wind direction changing fin 22 and a hot wind quantity controlling fin 24 to work by gears 22f, 24d to transmit movement of the lateral direction wind direction changing fin 22 is provided on the hot wind channel end part 20d.
