PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure positional precision between staplers and facilitate an assembly adjustment operation. SOLUTION: Two positioning holes(recessed parts) 351 are opened in the counter surface of a stitcher 5a to a clincher 5b and a pair of protrusions 304a formed on a coupling member 304 are inserted into the holes 351. Further, the protrusions 304a are fitted into the holes 351 in addition to the outer fitting shape of the coupling member 304 and thus the relative positioning of the stitcher 5a and the coupling member 304 is achieved. After that, the stitcher 5a is fitted into a fitting part 305 formed on one side of the coupling member 304, then the clincher 5b is fitted into a fitting part 306 on the other side and both are retained with the coupling member 304 held in between and fixed.
