PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for controlling an operation situation, wherein the retrieval for an incompletion signal or a completion signal, which is an operation situation confirming signal to discriminate the operation state in an operation section of one cycle, is effectively conducted so that the surplus time resultantly produced in the operation time of one cycle is effectively utilized for the execution and the confirmation of regular works in individual processes and irregular works based on manual input operations. SOLUTION: A line controller PLC issues an operation command to the working means of each process L1-L8 via individual controllers PLC1-PLC8 according to a casting command from a central management control computer 300, and further repeatedly retrieves, in individual controllers, incompletion signals "0" and completion signals "1" of operation states within a cycle operation section S.
