PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear driving device capable of surely preventing backlashes between a driving source and a transmission gear and between the transmission gear and a driven body in a small number of part items when transmitting rotation of a driving source to a driven body through the medium of a transmission gear. SOLUTION: The gear driving device is composed of a first gear 6, and a second gear 7 and third gear 8 laminated and arranged sandwiching the first gear 6, which are respectively made up of a spur gear. The second gear 7 and third gear 8 are elastically biased in a mutually opposed direction sandwiching the the first gear 6. While meshing the first and second gears 6, 7 with a driving gear 3, the first and second gears 6, 8 are meshed with a driven body 11. By so doing, the first and second gears 6, 7 and the first and third gears 6, 8 are elastically biased in the direction in which positions of tooth are mutually deviated, whereby rotation of the driving gear 3 is transmitted to the driven body 11 through the medium of the transmission gear 5 without a backlash.
