PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion leg section such as a pedestal or the like capable of having the expansion leg section required strength in the leg expanded and contracted in order to adjust height of the temporary pedestal or the like used for carrying out work by a worker riding thereon at a construction field or the like and, at the same time, facilitating the expansion of the pedestal or the like. SOLUTION: The expansion legs 9 are arranged in parallel with each other by paralleling four sides of a main leg, and both legs can be relatively moved in the longitudinal directions. In the legs 4 and 9 on one side, a plurality of holes 11 are formed in the longitudinal direction at proper intervals. From the legs 4 and 9 on the other side, both legs 4 and 9 can be fixed with pins 7 capable of coming in and out toward the holes 11. A member having required strength as the leg section 2 can be adopted since the leg section 2 does not keep one pipe material in the other pipe material.
