PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction matter capable of absorbing minor dimensional errors. SOLUTION: The construction matter 11 has rated dimension constituted so as to spread all over the floor surface constructed to have a standardized area with a plurality of construction matters. The construction matter 11 is equipped with a square core board 12, an elastic edge material 13 attached over the overall length of a side edge to at least one side edge of the core board 12 and a surface sheet 14 fixed to the surface of the core board 12 and the edge material 13 by coating the surface of the core board 12 together with the edge material 13, a width dimension b including the core board 12 and the edge material 13 is so formed that 1 to 15mm is larger than the rated dimension, at the same time, an elastic surface cushion material coated on the surface of the core board 12 is also included, and the core board 12 and the edge material 13 are coated with the surface sheet 14 through the surface cushion material.
