An initialization device for initializing a memory parameter of a main storage device upon start of an information processing device. The initialization device includes a temperature acquisition section for acquiring temperature of the information processing device upon start and a memory parameter initialization section for setting a memory parameter of the main storage device according to the temperature acquired by the temperature acquisition section.
