<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus which, in spite of being small-sized, secures visibility of a display part to thereby be easily operated even by a handicapped person. <P>SOLUTION: A display part 58 is arranged outside a sheet ejection region, so that the display part 58 is not covered by the ejected sheet and the visibility of the display part 58 can be secured. Furthermore, by arranging a part of an operating part 56 inside the sheet ejection region, the area of the operating part 56 can be enlarged. That is, even though an image forming apparatus 10 is small sized, a large area can be secured for the operating part 56 to widen the spacing between operating keys 62. Thus, even when the handicapped person operates the operating part 56, operation error of depressing a plurality of operating keys 62 at the same time can be eliminated and miniaturization of the image forming apparatus 10 and improving the operability of the operating keys 62 can be realized at the same time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
