<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-priced rolling bearing capable of restricting the generation of corrosion without being subjected to corrosion preventing treatment. <P>SOLUTION: An inner ring 1 and an outer ring 2 are heated in a vacuum furnace to reduce foreign matter such as oxide and nitride to be adhered to a surface of each of race rings 1 and 2 during the heating, and after grinding both side surfaces and an inner and an outer diameter surfaces of each of the race rings 1 and 2, tumbling is performed to eliminate the foreign matter left in a chamfered part 5, which is not ground, and a stopper wheel groove 6 of the outer wheel 2. The generation of corrosion starting from the foreign matter can be thereby effectively restricted without changing the quality of the material of the race rings 1 and 2 to expensive stainless steel or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
