<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a negative ion generating ceramic material, by which the amount of negative ions generated from either one or both of a mineral-based raw material and a ceramic-based raw material and further from a ceramic article can be increased. <P>SOLUTION: After immersing either one or both of a mineral-based raw material comprising at least one of raw material mineral ores containing at least one of uranium element, uranium series nuclear species, thorium element or thorium series nuclear species, and a ceramic-based raw material in water, the raw materials are subjected to electromagnetic treatment comprising applying an electric current, and to processing treatment comprising pulverizing, firing, or the like. Or, a ceramic material, obtained by subjecting the mineral-based raw material and the ceramic-based raw material to processing treatment comprising pulverizing, firing or the like, is immersed in water and subjected to electromagnetic treatment comprising applying an electric current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
