<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid medicine administering catheter having a structure of which the diameter can be made smaller than that of a conventional catheter, and being suitable for an administering experiment using a small animal. <P>SOLUTION: This liquid medicine administering catheter is equipped with a catheter tube 3 having a single lumen and a balloon 5 bonded to the outer periphery of the distal end of the catheter tube 3. The lumen of the catheter tube 3 communicates with the interior of the balloon 5 through a communication hole 21 bored in the catheter tube 3 and the lumen of a small diameter part 25 provided on the distal end side of the communication hole 21 of the catheter tube 3 is made narrower than that of the part other than the small diameter part 25 of the catheter tube 3. Since the catheter tube 3 has the single lumen, the diameter of the catheter tube can be made smaller than that of each of a plurality of the lumens of the catheter tube formed into a double pipe structure or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
