COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION DEVICE, REPEATING DEVICE, AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, a communication device, a repeating device and a communication method capable of suitably carrying out transport layer communication utilizing a plurality of communication paths even when the communication device has only one IP address.

SOLUTION: A client 101 and a server 103 selectively utilize a communication path via a gateway 102 corresponding to an IP address possessed by the gateway 102, and a communication path corresponding to an IP address possessed by themselves to carry out communication in a single transport layer 1 with a communication partner. When a communication path via the gateway 102 is utilized by transport layer communication in correspondence with an IP address possessed by the gateway 102, a packet from the client 101 and the server 103 is relayed to the communication partner in the communication path by the gateway 102.
