CELLULOSIC FIBER EXCELLENT IN MOISTURE RETENTION

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified cellulosic fiber having enhanced moisture retention and contact cold sensation characteristic of fiber by chemically modifying the surface of a cellulosic fiber. SOLUTION: The modified cellulosic fiber is obtained by bonding polyols having≤2,000 molecular weight in 2-30 wt.% based on the weight of the cellulosic fiber to the cellulosic fiber. The modified cellulosic fiber and fiber products such as clothing using the fiber are excellent in moisture retention and contact cold sensation characteristic. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
