PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bearing-less motor, and its rotor position control circuit and rotor position control method capable of effectively generating a supporting force by which a rotor is magnetically supported while maintaining magnetic linearity, in the bearing-less motor that has a prescribed gap length between the rotor and a stator. SOLUTION: This bearing-less motor in which the rotor 1 faces the stator 2 via a gap is provided with sets of permanent magnets 3 that are arranged in such a way that directions of polarities of the magnetic poles are reversed to each other toward the radial direction of the rotor and neighbor to each other along the rotating direction between salient poles of the rotor 1 on the circumferential edge of which the salient poles 31, 32, 33, and 34 are provided. Also, the rotor position control circuit of the bearing-less motor is provided with a current control circuit that controls a positive field current to flow into a field winding provided on the stator 2.
