PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently suppress deformation of a pillar member into a cabin by converting bending moment generated in the pillar member to tensile force and stably transmitting/diffusing it to a cross member extending in a left/right direction on a ceiling surface and a floor surface. SOLUTION: In the vehicle skeleton structure, the pillar member 12 and a roof cross member 11 joint a roof frame member 21 and are mutually crossed/bonded and a load transmitting member 40 for converting the bending moment generated in the pillar member 12 to tensile force and transmitting it to the roof cross member 11 is provided at the crossing/bonding part X1. Thereby, even when the load F is inputted to the pillar member 12 by side surface collision or the like, it is suppressed that the pillar member 12 is largely deformed into the cabin 5 by efficiently diffusing the load F to the roof cross member 11.
