PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional acoustic wave analysis method for analyzing the sound field of a wide, three-dimensional space by applying a wave acoustic analysis method by a boundary element method. SOLUTION: An analysis regionΩin a three-dimensional sound field is set to a three-dimensional space, and a governing equation with speed potentialΦas a solution and boundary conditions for the governing equation are calculated. Then, a boundary condition adaptive response function for satisfying the boundary conditions regarding the foundation surface of the governing equation is calculated, and the boundary condition adaptive response function is introduced to convert the governing equation to its equivalent boundary integral equation. Then, a boundary surface in the analysis regionΩis divided into surface elements having a size according to a target frequency, and the boundary integral equation is solved by using a discretization method to calculate speed potential distribution on the boundary. Finally, the speed potential distribution on the boundary calculated by the boundary integral equation is substituted in the boundary integral equation, thus calculating the speed potentialΦof the analysis regionΩ.
