SILICEOUS WATER-BASED INORGANIC COATING COMPOSITION FOR COUNTERMEASURE AGAINST SICK HOUSE SYNDROME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a siliceous water-based inorganic coating composition for countermeasures against sick house syndrome having excellent air permeability and hydrophobicity. SOLUTION: The siliceous water-based inorganic coating composition for the countermeasures against the sick house syndrome having excellent adsorption of formaldehyde in addition to excellent characteristics of a siliceous water-based inorganic coating is obtained as follows. A silicone reactive type water repellent in an amount of 10-100 pts.wt. on the basis of solids based on 100 pts.wt. of a coating film-forming material is added to an aqueous resin composition comprising an acrylic or a methacrylic ester polymer emulsion and colloidal silica as the coating film-forming material and a porous inorganic baked material in an amount of 300-1,000 wt.% based on the solids of the resultant mixture is added.
