NEW O-ALKYL-S-SULFENYL THIOCARBONATE COMPOUND AND METHOD FOR SYNTHESIZING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new thiocarbonate compound and a method for the production of the compound, the easy synthesis of a large amount of the compound on an industrial scale and the easy purification of the compound in high purity. SOLUTION: The compound is expressed by general formula [I] (R1and R2are each independently a 3-10C cyclic alkyl which may have branches or substituents, a bridged alicyclic alkyl or a substituted aralkyl). The compound of general formula [I] is produced by reacting an alcohol expressed by R-OH (R is a 3-10C cyclic alkyl which may have branches or substituents, a bridged alicyclic alkyl or a substituted aralkyl) with chlorocarbonyl sulfenyl chloride and reacting the product with dimercaptomethane.
