SOFT ALUMINUM FOIL FOR ELECTRODE OF ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide soft aluminum foil for electrode of electrolytic capacitor that can obtain a further expanded surface area after etching due to the uniform distributions of fine irregularities and a crystalline oxide on its surface, and can achieve an improved capacitance increasing effect. SOLUTION: On the surface of this aluminum foil, protrusions having a mean height of 0.01-0.5μm exist at an average interval of 0.1-10μm and the crystalline oxide is distributed at a rate of 0.1-10 pieces/μm2.
